The organizers of fnatic PLAY have decided to postpone the tournament to Tuesday, based on the startup problems.
At the stroke of 17:00CET, the fnatic PLAY website went down, just as the check-in was going to open. According to the organizers, the website was hit by a DDoS attack. Based on the fact that the website was still down at 18:00CET, the tournament has been postponed to Tuesday.
"Because our website was DDoS'd, we have experienced problem and we have to move the tournament for tomorrow to start at 18:00. Check-in method is changed. Email streetgg@gmail.com with your team name and roster. 22 teams will be randomly chosen from the list and participant list will be posted tonight at 22:30 CET. Every team still has a chance to participate". – Reads a statement from the organizers.
This means that the tournament will start Tuesday at 18:00CET and the overall schedule will look as follows:
Tuesday 17th May
18:00CET - Round of 32 - BO3
20:00CET - Round of 16 - BO3
22:00CET - Round of 8 - BO3Wednesday 18th May
18:00CET - Semifinals - BO3
21:00CET - 3rd place/finals - BO3
Stay tuned to find out which 22 teams will be selected for the tournament. You will still be able to follow all of the action from the fnatic PLAY tournament right here on HLTV.org, as we will be your home for the 2-day event.
