DELTA will be the second Polish team attending ESWC 2010, as the team defeated PGS in the Consolidation Final, which determined the last spot.
Frag eXecutors yesterday got a hold of the first spot, by winning the upper-bracket final 2-0 against PGS. The second spot would be determined between DELTA and PGS, who faced off this afternoon. Starting CT on de_train, DELTA faced weak Terrorists attacks from PGS, which resulted in a 13-2 lead for DELTA at halftime. PGS only managed to pick up three rounds as CT, before DELTA had taken three as well, winning 16-5.
PGS regained some strength on second map de_inferno, winning 11-4 as Terrorists. DELTA did however go on and play a similar as Terrorists, also winning 11-4 and forcing overtime. In overtime PGS won 2-1 in both half's, winning 19-17 overall. Moving to third map de_dust2, DELTA was able to execute a fair CT side, scoring eight rounds, while PGS got just seven as Terrorists. Despite losing the pistol-round, DELTA had everything under control as Terrorists, with guns in hand they went to take eight straight rounds to win 16-9 and 2-1 overall.
