The Russian in-game leader won his second medal after posting some impressive numbers across the board in the team's title-winning campaign.
Virtus.pro captain Dzhami "Jame" Ali has earned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of cs_summit 7 by HLTV.org. The Russian AWPer (1.31 tournament rating) beat out fnatic's Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson (1.21) in a close race that came down to the final map, which the CIS team won 16-8 to seal a 2-0 series victory.
Finn "karrigan" Andersen, who averaged a 1.23 rating in the competition, was also a strong candidate for the award until MOUZ lost to Virtus.pro in the semi-finals earlier on Sunday.
Jame finished all but two of ten maps that he played in the tournament with 1.15+ ratings, and had above-average ratings in every playoff map. He led the tournament's stats leaderboards in nine categories, including rating, damage difference per round (21.7), deaths per round (0.47), KAST (80.4%) and AWP kills per round (0.53).
This is the second MVP award for Jame, who also won it at BLAST Pro Series Moscow in 2019, when the team still represented AVANGAR.
